Hello! I was born in Fushimi, Kyoto—an area known for its excellent water quality and centuries-old sake breweries—and grew up surrounded by the history and culture of this city with more than a thousand years of history.
Kyoto is a city that has developed by embracing new ideas while cherishing its traditions. Having grown up among temples, seasonal events, and long-standing local customs, I enjoy sharing Kyoto’s unique charm, where old and new exist in harmony. My interest in Japanese heritage also extends to the world of Kabuki.
My experience working in Canada, where diverse cultures coexist, helped me develop an appreciation for different values and cultural backgrounds, as well as flexible communication skills.
Through my tours, I hope guests can experience not only Kyoto’s famous landmarks, but also the living city where local life and traditions continue today.
