Privacy Policy
Kyoto City Tourism Association (hereafter “Our association”), by managing the City of Kyoto Visitors Hosts search site “Clematis” (hereafter “the Site”), will be responsible for the proper handling of personal information based on the following.

1.“Guests” are defined as any individuals or corporations including tourism operators that use the Site to search or submit inquiries to City of Kyoto Visitors Hosts.
2.“Guides” are defined as any City of Kyoto Visitors Host and National Guides that uses the Site to transmit information.
Article 2 — Collected Personal Information
Our association collects such personal information as name, e-mail address, telephone number, gender, and address when Guests or Guides register as users of the Site.
Article 3 — Purpose of Use of Personal Information
Personal information entrusted to Our association is used only for the operation and related purposes of the site.

Our association does not disclose personal information to third parties except in the following cases.

Article 5 — Management of Personal Information
Our association safely manages personal information by taking actions to prevent leakage, loss, tampering, etc. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption is performed for personal information acquired through the site with the aim of ensuring safety.
Article 6 — Consenting to Data Handling
Users, by consenting to this privacy policy, agree to have their personal information handled by Our association, and our association, based on that agreement, will handle the users’ data.
