Oct.2017: I ran a Gion evening tour for a group of three. Two of them has read or seen Memoir of a Geisha, I was quite happy to explain Geisha culture in depth. An art work done by a prominent artist and the story about the similarity between Maiko and Sumo wrestlers well attracted them. It was one day after the harvest moon night, the night was falling as I was explaining what we saw on Moon.

Oct. 2017: I led a group of eight visitors from Mexico to Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple and Nishiki Market. The guests were especially interested in historical contexts, the story I delivered extended to Edo Castle and Shogun's daily life, which drew a lot of attentions from the guests. Although It was drizzling on and off, everyone was patient and genuinely enjoying their Kyoto leg.
