We highly recommend Noriko as a tour guide! We had a wonderful excursion with Noriko through Kyoto, she formed an itinerary according to our interests. Communication before, during and after the excursion was excellent, her english is near perfect. We were a group of three with my 76-year old mother and she adapted the speed accordingly. Very knowledgeable and nice and soft voice, always clear.

Noriko-san opened our eyes to the people and culture of Kyoto. She recommended cultural treasures that we would have never visited on our own. We ate at a restaurant, where, if we closed our eyes, we could imagine the sounds and smells of Kyoto two hundred years ago. She was patience and encouraging in our attempts to speak Japanese. She was always attentive to our safety and comfort. Because of Noriko-san, we will always cherish our visit to Kyoto and we are already planning our return.

Noriko was the best guide. She was always on time to meet us and greeted us with a smile and enthusiasm. She is very knowledgeable about Kyoto and Japanese culture and history. Her English is excellent. She listened to what our group hoped to see and do and accommodated our excursions to meet our wishes. We feel that with Noriko as our guide we saw and learned much more than we would have been able to do on our own. We highly recommend spending time in Kyoto with Noriko as your guide.

With 6 friends we contracted with Noriko to guide us through Kyoto for 2 full days. It was a most wonderful decision. Using every mode of transportation (Bus, Taxi, train...) we were able to see so many areas of Kyoto both north and south that we never would have seen. In addition to getting to the many sites, we walked 8-9 miles each day! Noriko also gave us so much insight into life in Kyoto, customs, etc. and so patiently answered so many questions from us. I highly recommend Noriko for an English tour.

Noriko went out of her way to show us as many sites as possible in Kyoto. She was very receptive to any suggestions that we made regarding our two day tour. She guided us well past the time that we had booked. She was able to explain Japanese customs and history. I would highly recommend her. She had a very good command of the English language. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her.
