Born in Kyoto, but raised in Yamaguchi and Fukuoka prefectures as my family got transferred because of my father's work, which eventually has made me interested in living outside of Japan, and ended up having lived in six different English-spoken countries in my 20s to gain experiences of studying tourism management and of working in tourism-reated industies.

My first ever experience of working as a tour guide was in New Zealand where I conducted a tour based on the relationship between the night sky and Maori mythology, focusing on the fact that stars have a family just like us humans and there is also life for each of the stars.

My speciality in guiding in Kyoto is cycling tours. I have been conducting bike tours since March 2024 hopefully to raise awareness of the brilliance of riding a bicycle in the beautiful Kyoto as bicycle rides help us find the hidden beauty of Kyoto that most tourists are likely to overlook and I hope my tour helps you see things you are not able to see when you take public transport like subways, buses, and taxis.
