I've been guiding many guests in English and Spanish. I love my city and enjoy sharing local experiences, history, culture and places "off the beaten track" with visitors.
I've been to Mexico and Great Britain when I was a student. Also I traveled more than 40 times(19 countries).
As an avid traveler I love meeting people from around the world.
The characteristic of my guidance is the use of ''Original materials''.
Guiding not only with words but also with Handmade materials including old maps of Kyoto, ancient writings and Japanese woodblock prints help you enjoy Kyoto with its deep history and background.
My interests range from classic to modern, from tea rooms to modern cafes, from Japanese sake to craft beer, and from Zen meditation to outdoor activities such as hiking on Mt. Kurama.
I'm also licensed in Tea ceremony and Japanese flower arrangement. Besides working as a licenced guide, I work in the tea ceremony workshop for foreign visitors.
I can give you the best itinerary according to your schedule, budget and requests.
Please feel free to ask me.
I look forward to meeting you and showing you around!

~ Once in a life time encounter in Kyoto among 5 group from Spain ~
A total of eight guests from Spain who came to Japan in various style; a couple, with friends, alone.
We did one day tour visiting the highlights of Kyoto such as Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji, Nijo Castle,Gion & Higashiyama historic area...etc.
Fresh green was beautiful in the blue sky and we enjoyed a a pleasant day.
By the end of the day,we found ourselves turned in to a good friends. -
~ Tea ceremony experience ~
I attended five Spanish couples in the tea ceremony workshop.
They enjoyed learning the history and the background of the ceremony.
I think the tea ceremony is one of the best way to feel the Japanese cultures and hospitality.
Also visiting the workshops of traditional crafts include tea utensils or of making Japanese confectionery are available in my tours. Please feel free to ask me. -
~Highlight of the ancient capital city by luxury hire car. A gift from a son to his parents - A journey of hospitality~
I guided a family of four from India. Based on the request of the son who has visited Japan many times, we saved time and energy by using a hired car.
They enjoyed walking around the highlights such as the bamboo grove path, Kiyomizu-dera area, and Fushimi Inari. Fortunately, the day of the tour was a Seiryukai day, and we ended the day with a surprise of a dragon passing in front of us.
