Hello, my name is Hiroko Chino, based in Kyoto — the cultural heart of Japan.
I create exceptional cultural and educational travel experiences that connect visitors with the living heritage of Japan.
My work goes far beyond traditional guiding — I collaborate closely with temples, artisans, universities, and local communities to open doors that are usually closed to the public.
From private tea ceremonies in centuries-old gardens, to architectural tours guided by experts, or intimate encounters with Kyoto’s master craftsmen, each experience I design reveals Japan’s true spirit beyond sightseeing — authentic, personal, and deeply meaningful.
I believe that stories are what truly connect people.
I see myself not only as a guide, but as a storyteller — sharing the philosophy, artistry, and emotion that bring each place to life.
Through our programs, guests don’t just visit Japan — they become part of its ongoing story.
Beyond the city, I also curate adventure tourism experiences across the Kyoto Prefecture, introducing the lesser-known beauty of rural landscapes, local crafts, and community life that most travelers never see.
If you are seeking to create an unforgettable journey rooted in culture, artistry, and genuine human connection, I would be honored to be your partner in discovering Kyoto — and the deeper essence of Japan.
